Who has been monitoring the South African situation right now? (Small Marxist analysis included)

Been monitoring certain channels, and there's some shit going on in SA. The boer population is starting to mobilize after a string of their fellow land barons (farmers) got merked. There has been a video circulating around of a boer former general calling for mass action, and the reactionary elements are LARPing and calling for another Rhodesia as always. What I don't seem to understand is, especially when we talk about SA, is how can some self-identified Marxists negate colonialism in the country when the whites comprise 8% of the population yet own 72% of the privately held farmland? This entire situation is a problem for white western leftists who speak purely from an emotional and moralist standpoint, without taking into consideration the conditions of the landless underclass. Especially when we talk about the realities of reprisal for this residual colonialism.SA's ruling ANC party has tried to implement a proper solution. What has been in the implemented framework of the South African ruling party is an attempt to address the issue by redistributing farm land held by whites that are on public lands to benefit the majority/landless underclass. These lands do have a shitty history, as they were secured through leases during apartheid and saw the white minority government exchange public land for private investments on that same land. The ANC are indeed lukewarm, and there are much better political parties active (EFF being one of them), but despite all this, the Marxist position should remain unchanged. The Marxist-Leninist position is clear: Unconditional support for land redistribution.  via /r/communism https://ift.tt/3jP0C9o
