I saw this post, and I can't help but get irritated. Where did liberals get the idea that Jesus and Christianity were okay with LGBT, or that Jesus was a socialist? I'm not talking about individual Christians, but the religion as a whole. The bible has advocated for slavery of people and the execution of very, very, very serious and "hateful sinners," such as those who love another man. I'm tired of liberals co-opting leftist/socialist talking points for their bullshit. To them, socialism is when the government gives you healthcare, people treat each other nicely, and hating the ultra-rich, but it's okay to like some rich people as long as they say BLM.And I really don't care about the whole "old testament vs. new testament" argument because it doesn't matter; the church still preach both, and unless you're studying theocracy, you're not going to learn about what's canon or what's the word of god - it's all the word of god when you just go to church once a week. I'm sure other religions, especially Abrahamic religions, have similar tenets, but I don't know much about the others ones since they're not that prevalent in my life. via /r/communism https://ift.tt/2ZxL4yE
