Ok so today, instead of our biology class, the teacher told us that we aren't gonna do anything school related. I was thinking It'd be pretty nice...it wasn't. We started talking about different things and at one point we got to the subject of gay marriage and family and stuff...you know what I mean. Well she started talking about how she had a class earlier with some 8th graders and was talking about the same subject and how she asked who wasn't bothered by homosexual relationships existing. Everyone raised their hands except for one girl who was basically in between. She then started explaining to them (and also to us cause she did the same thing with us after) how homosexuality is bad and how American movies brainwashing us to turn us gay and stuff like that. I was so close to getting up and shouting at her to shut up and stick that bullshit up her ass, but fortunately I didn't...ok well I was angry but I calmed down until I got home...I started ranting about this to my mom (who I'm also out to so she should KNOW WHAT I THINK ABOUT THIS) and she stops me mid-sentence to tell me I'm wrong and my teacher is right... The person who has been the most supportive to me until now also then tells me that if I do shit like that I'm "committing a crime against humanity" and that "this shit will lead humanity to extinction". This is bullshit. This is why I hate this country (I live in Romania, which is a very homophobic/transphobic/everything-that-was-punished-in-the-spanish-inquisition-phobic country).
