In many ways, I actually feel Mike Pompeo is the real arbiter in this administration, at least on foreign affairs. I feel like he's the main guy behind the (failed) campaign against Huawei and is really the one who comes up with all these ideas, from working with subversive evangelical Venezuelan groups to efforts to contain China. He definitely was behind the decision to get rid of the Iran deal.Pompeo is a scary guy.
