I'm pretty well read on the general topic of alienation as a direct effect of the capitalist mode of production as a whole. But I couldn't find texts analyzing alienation and its basis in today's world yet. The primary condition for alienation is still the alienation of the worker from the product of his labour of course. What I'm interested in is an explicit and rich analysis of the secondary factors responsible for the extreme alienation humans experience nowadays, leading to isolation, spikes in mental illness, incels, anime culture (jk lol) etc.Does anyone have a reading recommendation for me? via /r/communism https://ift.tt/2NotQ0N
