In conversations with many a football-watching, capitalist loving American over the topic of progressivism/conservatism etc.. I am often met with the response that taxation on the super wealthy or any reappropriation of wealth "kills incentive to work" and that the system "needs billionaires" like Jeff bezos to show the rest of the populace that working hard can get you in a spot like his. Is there any particular sets of data, graphs, or simple-to-explain numbers or ideas that can help me argue that the incentive to work is not a valid point to make in arguing against socialism/communism? Thanks. via /r/communism https://ift.tt/2vPftwl
