Communism is, barebones, a classless, stateless, moneyless society. This type of society simply is impossible currently. we simply do not have the means of production, renewal, transportation, and so on. In order for communism to work, it can't just be perfectly functional, it has to be stable. It's my belief that a true perfect communist society could not be run by humans. AI, automation, renewable energy, all these ultra-advanced technologies aren't just part of society, they're ESSENTIAL for creating the "end" of human society: a society with no NEED for human leadership, resource gathering, etc. AI run decision making, machine automated agriculture and infrastructure, in order for humans to be in a truly equal postition in society they fundamentally cannot be running it. A perfect society like communism would entail is, in some senses, the end goal of all human society. When Viewed from a lense of what society was developed for (protection, food, basic survival needs) the completion of society would be a perfect system that meets all of those needs for all people.Socialism is typically and often thought of as the precursor to communism, when in reality, communism can only be achieved when humans aren't involved. It's not the end goal of socialism, it's the end goal of society. via /r/communism https://ift.tt/3bTz27I
