Views in Mafias/Narcos and how would Communists deal with them, specially in Latin America?

I know some people end up being part of these organizations out of desperation, but the majority often kill innocent working class people and do other morbid things, and most don't care about consuming drugs or what lives are lost along the way, just the money. I've personally seen violence from them, and not so long ago some drug dealers pulled out a gun on my father and followed him just because he starred at them. So, would these people be considered criminals and if not, why?Sorry if I offend anyone and sorry if this is a stupid question. Just trying to get more knowledgeable on the subject.
