I've been wrapping up Howard Zinn's A People's History of the US since I have a bit more time due to covid-19.I just finished the Carter-Reagan-Bush: Bipartisan Consensus chapter which went into detail on the everything about and surrounding the Gulf War.All I can say is I guess there's a reason I do not remember learning about it in high school (I graduated not too long ago, too). No amount of PR could make that look good to any decent person (the media definitely tried though)I just feel even more depressed knowing what I know now, on top of everything happening today. via /r/communism https://ift.tt/2Stszbi
