So I’m a black high school junior who I guess wouldn’t strike you as a member of LGBTQ when you first see me. I’m a tall basketball player with a girlfriend. But I have a secret. I’ve always been attracted to men, women, and other genders( I believe gender is a social construct so I guess I don’t really care what gender you are) and I’ve never really come to terms with this. I’ve been in denial growing up about this but now I’m okay with myself and my sexuality. The only problem is that the community I’m in is the exact opposite. My parents are homophobic and my friend group is even worse. I’m not ready to come out to anyone yet, but I kind of want to. What can I do?
