I’m officially a fellow traveler...

I’m reluctant to call myself a communist but I damn sure sympathize with proletarian afflictions. I’m convinced that profit is inherently exploitative. With that being said, I’m in a bit of a predicament with the upcoming U.S. election. I understand the corporatism behind both parties and the damage Trump is doing to the working class and other marginalized groups. My gut was initially to vote for Biden because at least he has some (I emphasize some) progressive policies. Now, I’m not so sure. Do stick it to the man and say “No, I won’t vote for an establishment corporatist”, or do I take the utilitarian approach and vote for Biden because he’s not Trump. As much as I know we need more than two parties it doesn’t negate the vast grip they currently have on American politics.Either way I know one of them will be president, and honestly I feel like Trump has a greater chance of winning unfortunately. I was a Bernie supporter, but America missed that train. What do I do? I’m so lost right now and I know I’m not the only one. Should I even be participating in the Bourgeois political system anyways? via /r/communism https://ift.tt/2AsWXfC
