New and Curious Comrade

Hello! I'm rather new to the political sphere, but I couldn't help myself from leaning towards the ideas of Marxism, but I still have some questions before I fully commit. I'm hoping we can have some reasonably educated discussions, as I'm clueless.1, I have no clue who to vote for in the upcoming American election. I had been a die-hard Sanders supporter and was devastated once he dropped out of the race. A lot of my ideas seemed to go along with the ideas of both Sanders and Communism, and now I have absolutely no idea who to toss my ballot at. Who has the CPUSA endorsed, and who do you all endorse?2, The subject of China is one I can't help but to feel shouldn't be ignored. Yes I recognize a lot of the advances China has made in recent years, but situations such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Tibet are debates I can't help but to feel should be talked about. I can't honestly say I fully support China after everything, and I'm wondering how supportive or against the CPUSA and you all are towards these issues, and if perhaps my mind may possibly be changed.3, To come out and confidently proclaim oneself to be a Communist in America is no doubt to follow with heavy backlash. True the fear of backlash should never be a consideration in terms of what is truly needed in both politics and everyday life, but yet, without being financially independent and having to rely on my parents for financial support, I sadly must consider what I can do to soften the blow if I decide to truly be a comrade. What have you comrades done to either support other comrades or to perhaps change the views of Communism in America?I know it's quite a lot, but I feel as if these questions of mine must be answered before I can confidently make a decision. I hope you all understand my plight and will perhaps provide me with resources. Stay strong. <3 via /r/communism https://www.reddit.com/r/communism/comments/gi3qkd/new_and_curious_comrade/?utm_source=ifttt
