I’m coming at this from the perspective of having Polish-American ancestry. The collapse of the union has led to the fall and disgrace of the Slavic people’s of Eastern Europe. In Ukraine fascists run the government and wave around symbols of the very people who would see them exterminated 70+ years ago. In Poland the far right openly sponsor and support anti Semitism, historical revisionism ect. Too all people’s who were considered inferior by the Nazis that now support fascism are traitors to their own nationality, it shows how far the world has fallen. Across the world the capitalists have slashed our healthcare, rights, pensions, wages, safety nets with little to no pushback. It seems soon the capitalists will become brazen enough to start accelerating towards the development of a new form of technocratic capitalist fascism to suppress the proletariat at all costs. We must resist this at all costs comrades. While things are bleak now for the left they were so in 1900s as well.
