Protesting and public space in America

One thing I have been reading lately is the erosion of public places in America--the suburbs, basically. And one thing I notice is how terrible is it to organize any form of protesting without public space. Looking at the suburban protestors who gathered and protested inside the parking lots really shows how disconnected the impact of their action are to the general public. What is your opinion on this? How hard do you think is it to do protesting when public spaces are not available? Can anyone who has protested speak up? via /r/communism https://ift.tt/2Le9LJs
