Being a Chinese person overseas, I am surrounded by western news outlets 24/7. Although I don't take the news there seriously, I seriously wonder whether I should be supporting the PRC in this situation or the Hong Kong protestors.Since Communism is defined as internationalist, why should I be supporting the PRC's plan for Hong Kong? I know that the US is actively trying to escalate the situation in Hong Kong, but I know of many genuine Hong Kong people that are pro-independence.
