How would we handle opposing countries once we've successfully established communism?

Say America in the distant future goes through a proper, Bolshevik revolution. We go through all necessary transitions between socialism and communism and eventually become communist. Now suppose other societies have not caught up yet (even though we believe they eventually will as capitalism is always their own worst gravediggers). What do we do about demand for luxury products not produced in our own society or that cannot be produced in our own society without having materials/resources elsewhere?I believe with luxury goods we would simply distribute them within reason instead of selling our labor to purchase them, but what happens if our people want specific products made from other capitalist countries? We can't buy them because money would be obsolete by then and we also would not want to support capitalism in any way. We could replicate them yes, but wouldn't other countries try to attack us with their intellectual property laws?Personally, I imagine even if they send us bills we'd not pay it because of how absurd it is. Even if they tried to sue us our own courts would not entertain such capitalist whims. They'd have to convince their governments to make us pay by force, and I imagine that still would not happen because I don't see a capitalist country wanting to fuck with a revolutionary society that had just successfully brought their ruling class to their knees. What do you think? Also, in case of retaliation would we have an army to protect us, if so, how would that work? Violating their IP laws or not, capitalist countries will not want to see communism anywhere because they don't want their own citizens to see it working well and getting emboldened to pursue the same ambitions. via /r/communism https://ift.tt/38UL2Ds
