I love every single one of you

I'm not pan, I'm a straight white (possibly privileged) male. But I am posting this because on this specific subreddit because my girlfriend the other day, came out as pan. At first I didn't know what to think. And of course, the situation was made all the more awkward by the fact that we are both Christians. We don't believe in the "God" who hates LGBTQ+, nor do we believe in the "God" who is ok with it. God does not care who you are. In a way that's kind of funny to think about, God is pan. He loves everyone, and gender does not change his love for my beliefs were challenged, not by my girlfriend, but by reality. Does my belief really match up with what is true? And yes, yes it does. (Great job for reading this far) I live by this truth: there is a God who loves you for who you are. It doesn't matter if your sexuality is different, it doesn't matter if your brain works in different ways, he just loves you. But for God who loves everything also has to hate something. He hates sin. Sin separates us from him. Now tying sin to LGBTQ+ is a bit difficult. You wouldn't condemn a person for being lets say, from Alabama, would you? No! Just like that, being LGBTQ+ in itself is not sinful. But it's giving into temptation, it's falling and being proud of your fall, that is what is sinful. Of course, everyone is going to mess up sometime, but there is never a second that God won't forgive you. All you have to do is trust in him. He sent his son to die. Jesus died for pansexuals. Jesus died for gays. Jesus died for bisexuals. He loves you, so of course I'm going to love you too. If you have any questions I can direct you to my girlfriend to talk about pansexuality, or I can talk in the comments or dms. I love you, and I may not agree with some choices some of you have made, but that's not stopping me from loving who you are.
