[Poll] Is technology important in establishing communism?

Hello fellow comrades. As a long-time lurker in the communism subreddit, I have for a while now being wondering about the importance of technology and human innovation in a communist state (for lack of a better word.). Does it matter? Are there any logistical limitations to it's implementation, and if so, what changes would be nessecsary? I know it may seem like a simple question, but it's one that I've been unsure of, and I'd like to seek a broader range of intellectuals.
