Reconciling Marxism with Psychology, Evolutionary Theory, and Pragmatism

Hello everyone, my first post here and I am curious to know how Marxism might reconcile with:Human psychology and some relevant ideas that might suggest incompatibility with Marxism, such as the human affinity to organize in hierarchical structures and expect a recompense that reflects the place in the hierarchy. Or perhaps the inclination to "possess", as in private property. There is much spillover between psychology and evolutionary theory, but evolution concerns would be more along the lines of the idea of humans being "tribal" creatures, who have a difficult time caring about the welfare of more than a (relatively) very few people. And Pragmatism, being the philosophical doctrine that derives the truth of an idea from it's real world consequences, would perhaps see Marxism in an unfavorable light. Why hasn't it worked? Why does it continue to exist in the state that it exists.I'd appreciate some clarification. Thanks. via /r/communism https://ift.tt/2ytUUHd
