Read a work of theory years ago that I've been meaning to revisit. Forgive me for being super vague, but I recall it having a somewhat generic title, like "On Love" or similar. Was written by a relatively contemporary if not contemporary Marxist. The general thesis of the work argued for communism being the political realization of love, and it did so scientifically as well as sentimentally.
