I am making some predictions on what will happen.China and Vietnam's response to the virus has been good, whereas the response of the United States (and some european nations) has been abysmal.In the US, social distancing rules are frequently broken and healthcare is inaccessible to many people. To top it all off, we have reactionaries astroturfing protests to end the social distancing rules.Economies like China and Vietnam are more resistant to economic crises because of the economic planning the government carries out. These countries are allies to Cuba and the DPRK.The United States will buckle under the weight of a financial disaster and will likely lose its position as a major power, and China will emerge as the new world power. This is good for Cuba and the DPRK, as the US will lose ability to carry out imperialist aggression.Meanwhile, discontent and class consciousness will rise in nations such as India, the Phillipines, and other nations.
