Comrades! This homeless man has his dog stolen from him by a wealthy influencer, help him get it back!

I thought this may be a place to find some help for a homeless man in Los Angeles who has had his dog stolen from him. Brittany, aka .@brittanylitteton (on instagram) is an influencer in LA, who owns a restaurant in West Hollywood, a wealthy part of town. A couple come to a homeless encampment in Echo Park, tricked a homeless man into getting distracted by promising furniture and stole his dog, Luna, who he has had for 6 years. The dog is his emotional support animal, and I think we can all agree that our homeless comrades deserve companionship and love. The couple took Luna to Brittany's "rescue" she owns (a super sketchy rescue that operates on venmo and gofundme donations). The "rescue is .@thelittleloverescue on Instagram. The day Luna was brought to Brittany she raised $8,000 on gofundme in her name. The homeless man reported the dog stolen to LAPD, and was referred to Brittany. She told him she spent $6,000 on surgery for Luna and refused to give him back *unless* he paid her that money back. Obviously he cannot afford this. An LA nonprofit Heart Los Angeles donated legal services to the homeless man and they sued and won a ruling for Brittany to return the dog. She is still refusing to do so and has had her influencer friends, who all have followings of over 2 million people, post about him "abusing" his animal, and dox him on their stories. Now Heart Los Angeles (.@heartlosangeles on IG) is being attacked on Instagram by tons of Karens. In another plot twist, Heart Los Angeles went with the homeless man to protest at Brittany's work. The homeless man was upset (obviously) and yelled some things at Brittany. Someone stuck a camera in his face and he shoved it away. Because of this, she is now claiming he is violent and threatening, and her friend who was filming is pressing legal charges for having her hand hit away - which is obviously ridiculous and cruel. It would be so so so great if a bunch of you would be so inclined to go to .@thelittleloverescue or .@brittanylittleton on Instagram and let them know that you do not support stealing homeless people's dogs! It would be especially great if you could condone how she saw what she says is a dog that needed medical attention and decided to grab that and not help out a man who is sleeping on the street. This story is super wild, but I just want to support one of our most vulnerable populations!
