Just a couple weeks ago, armed, white, Conservative freedom fighters took to the streets to protest lockdowns and call for reopening the economy. Today, those same people are condemning protests against systemic racism and police brutality, especially if they involve violent unrest, and telling people to stay home during curfews. Really? Now that it's no longer your selfish agenda being pushed, we suddenly have to stay home and twiddle our thumbs? People are finally protesting for something that matters, not just the right to go out and die to keep making the ruling class richer.Given the United States' own involvement in violent and destabilizing regime changes in other countries, Americans should know better than anyone that change doesn't usually happen peacefully. For a country whose motto is 'Murica: We give people freedom, whether they want it or not, you would think these freedom-fighting Americans would be capable of recognizing their own hypocrisy. via /r/communism https://ift.tt/3gWLrKo
