Hi. I saw a conversation online the other day where somebody replied to 'socialism has never worked in real life' by saying that in fact, socialism is working in places like Cuba, Vietnam, China, Laos, DPRK, and that the difficulties these places encounter are because of the obstacles from the US and the UN like the embargoes and blockades. I would like to know more about how these US and UN interventions have hindered socialism in these countries, but having trouble finding information online that isn't pro-American.
