Legitimate criticism of planned economy?

Whenever I deal with the functioning of planned economy models, which nowadays are often referred to as the economy of scarcity, I usually come across the following criticism:lack of information about population needs and thus the problem of surpluses and supply gaps.2.lack of flexibility.3.lack of economic control signals such as priceslack of technological progress and innovation, especially due to the lack of incentives that are present in market economy models.5.lack of democracy and the constant presence of strong bureaucratisation and thus inefficiency.6.lack of self-determination of the individual.lack of environmental protection and a problem of waste of resources.I often read that the rapid economic development and the almost non-existence of economic crises in the USSR can simply be traced back to the abundance of resources and to brutal methods and forced labor, especially during Stalinism. Thus, it is often these shortcomings that neoliberals object to when they think that planned economies do not work and that capitalism is therefore the best economic system. That this is nonsense is well known to all of us, but from my side I could not completely convince myself of a planned economy because of these (alleged?) deficiencies. I hope that maybe you can convince me of this economic system. But what do you think about it? via /r/communism https://ift.tt/3f0IS87
