For those who want some extra ammunition in discussing with others about how much propaganda westerners have been fed. This was literally an oath that professors or any universities employees had to take in order to work. The oath included: disavowing communist organisations; and a swearing of loyalty to the constitution. Professors and scholars who did not take the oath were dismissed from educational posts and blacklisted from working in education, all under the charge of ‘professional unfitness’ and ‘personal disloyalty’. via /r/communism https://ift.tt/2A6kRhf
