I was terrified. I knew my mom would take it ok but my dad is very right leaning so I was super scared he’d hate me or something. But after I told them my mom said the following:
Mom: We don’t care who you like that’s up to you. We love you.
Dad: Yeah, I don’t even know what it means but you’re still young, figuring things out.
Mom: Thank you for telling us.
after that I went and cried happy tears in my room I am so happy. That legit took 5 minutes I was expecting to be there for at least 20.
Edit: it’s like just hitting me that I can now be gay in peace. I’m seriously so happy it went that well
