Any experienced homemade CBD Oil makers...

Posing a few questions to anyone who has made their own CBD Oil. I'm looking to make an oil for sublingual dosing. I have a pound of CBD Trim and want to experiment with a few procedures. Im looking to achieve something in the neighborhood of ~1500mg/oz.

First, a simple oil extraction - decarb an ounce of trim in a mason jar in the over for about an hour, cover it with oil (an MCT oil) and then let it rest in a crock pot for about 6 hours. I figure this is probably the most basic method, but probably also leaves me with the least concentrated product - i'd probably need at least 4oz of oil to cover an ounce of shake... Leaving what I'd blindly estimate to being something like 500mg per fluid ounce if I'm lucky. (?)

Second, the alcohol extraction. Same setup, an ounce of decarbed trim in a mason jar, cover with few ounces of everclear, freezer for 2 weeks, shaking every day.... After 2 weeks, strain the shake, slowly cook down the alcohol... Despite a limited knowledge of chemistry, I would think this results in a much more concentrated product, which I could then "dilute" with an MCT oil to achieve the concentration I want.

So basically... To anyone who has gone either route before, does my math/methodology check out?

TL;DR: Got a pound of trim/shake and wanna aim for a ~1000-1500mg per oz sublingual. Whats the best/safest way of achieving this? Also, are the ideas I presented reasonable?

I know "watch youtube" is gonna be the most common answer but any actual answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
