I was talking to an ancom friend of mine and he made the claim that Marxism-Leninism has been recuperated by the spectacle. It struck me as pretty weird considering that it seems like anarchism has been incorporated, with punk and other anarchist aesthetics being massively commodified, wheres ML has largely just been repressed.
