Anti-China and more broadly anti-communist regimes rhetoric argued based on labor camps is flawed.

If a person is arguing that communist regimes are oppressive and use the examples of labor camps to make their point then they're making an abolitionist argument and not an anti-communist one. Many detainees in prisons in 'democratic' capitalist states are also innocent, also subject to forced labor and violence. This is an important point to raise when people make the historical argument against communism solely based on the atrocities of those institutions. via /r/communism https://ift.tt/2VORVSp
