How come theories about Lee Harvey Oswald don’t emphasize he was communist?

Considering the US’ history of anti communism, especially during the JFK years, you’d think that the popular theory would be that Oswald was some Soviet agent or that he was at least a sympathizer. The theory exists, but it seems like people debate more about the theories that he was a CIA asset, part of the mob, hired by the Vice President, multiple gunmen, or that he was completely innocent and framed. In summary, it seems like the popular theories all place the US government as being involved and that his ideology wasn’t important to the story. Even the right wing was celebrating JFK’s death instead of using it as a boogeyman against communism. Why is that? via /r/communism https://ift.tt/2OKjHvw
