Reading through the ecured.cu page for Vigotskij, it reads that his ideals were clearly Marxist, but he promoted revisionist thought, and then later had his works censored by "Stalinist" authorities for being anti-marxist and being anti-proletarian. via /r/communism https://ift.tt/3hWN2iv
